Project Objectives:

  • To improve access and use of safe drinking water and sanitation facilities along with an improved health and hygiene conditions of 5000 families in Dadu district of province.
  • To provide shelter to 666 families and NFIs (blankets and kitchen kits) to 1000 families in Dadu district of province.
  • To make it sure that women, girls, minorities, elderly and disabled people among 5000 flood affected families, must have easy and safe access to WASH, Shelter/ NFIs and the other basic services

Project Outputs:

  • There is an increase in access to safe drinking water among 5,000 families of 2 Union Councils of district Dadu.
  • There is decrease in morbidity rates due to improved hygiene practices among 5,000 families in 2 Union Councils of district Dadu.
  • There is an increase in an improvement of an access to better sanitation facilities among 1,200 families in 2 Union Councils of district Dadu.
  • There 666 most vulnerable families are identified in need of shelter (tents/roofing material) and 1,000 most vulnerable families which are in need of NFIs are identified which are being handed over to them presently along with the commencement of the project.
  • Vulnerable populations have been acknowledged about the knowledge of their rights and are increasingly getting able to claim them from responsible authorities without intimidation.
