On #MSMEDay, RDF celebrated the contributions of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) under the GRASP project in Tando Muhammad Khan, Sujawal and Thatta Districts.
The International day of MSMEs was celebrated under EU funded GRASP project which is being implemented by International Trade Centre in partnership with FAO, SMEDA and Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF).
The event featured Mr. Naeem Soomro, Assistant Commissioner of Tando Muhammad Khan and Mr. Habibullah Wagan, Assistant Deputy Commissioner-II of Sujawal, as the Chief Guests, alongside Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Vice Chancellor of Indus Medical University. Mr. Nabi Bux Sathio, Senior Vice President of Sindh Chamber of Agriculture and Representative of PPAF also attended the program and spoke on the occasion, highlighting the importance of MSMEs in driving economic growth and achieving sustainable development goals.
Key highlights included a panel discussion on the role of SMEs in achieving SDGs, with representatives from MFIs, the Livestock Department, the Agriculture Department, and the Insurance Sector. An exhibition showcased SME products and services.
