

Mr. Seerra Bobe Josep, Regional Coordinator of ToGETHER Programs, accompanied by Mr. Farhan Razzak, Project Coordinator WHH Islamabad, visited the ongoing activities under the Urban Food Production project.
The delegation visited Village Sahib Khan Mirani, where they inaugurated the newly established water filtration scheme, developed by FRDP, under WASH component, and held an interactive meeting with project beneficiaries – primarily women. They also observed vegetable gardening, being carried out independently by two families. A highlight of the visit was the stop at Abdul Basit Milk and Dairy Shop in Village Sahib Khan Mirani. The guests were briefed on the equipment and machinery provided through the project, and Mr. Josep purchased a bottle of cold milk as a symbolic gesture of support. Additionally, both guests planted a Chekoo tree during their site visit to the Urban Forest at Public School Hyderabad, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainability. Mr Sarwan Baloch form WHH Hyderabad, and team of Research and Development Foundation (RDF) represented by Mr. Niaz Siyal, Mr. Aftab Soomro, and Mr. Aftab Ahmed Akhund were the part of the visit.
