

Mr. Masood Ahmed Mahesar, Executive Director of the Research and Development Foundation, along with Mr. Arshad Ali Danwar, Associate Director of Quality and Compliance, visited a DACUM meeting at the STEVTA Staff Training Academy. During the visit, they observed DACUM members actively working on developing occupational profiles and competency standards. These were being designed under the curricula for Solid Waste Management and Recycling of Banana Biomass—an important step toward promoting green skills. They also had the opportunity to meet with a diverse group of stakeholders, including TEVTA officials, industry experts from the solid waste and banana sectors, academic professionals, DACUM experts, STEVTA representatives, and NAVTTC officials and Mr: Akmal Khan Project Coordinator Welthunfer Hilfe . Mr. Mahesar highlighted that this was the first time in Sindh that experts from multiple sectors had come together to collaboratively develop such curricula with STEVTA and NAVTTC.
